PANews February 26 News, according to BlockSec, the Ploutus protocol liquidity pool on Ethereum (0xD060…945D2) was attacked due to an oracle configuration error, resulting in a loss of approximately $390,000. The pool incorrectly linked the USDC price to Chainlink’s BTC/USD feed, causing a significant price deviation. The attacker exploited this error by collateralizing only 8 USDC to borrow 187 ETH. Blockchain data shows the attack transaction occurred in the next block after the configuration change was confirmed, indicating the attacker closely followed and exploited the configuration update.
