Unity of knowledge and action: How to change your destiny with "Heart Learning"?

Hello everyone, today we discuss a topic that can truly change your fate—Wang Yangming's "Unity of Knowledge and Action, Attain Innate Knowledge."

Many people think that Heart Learning is metaphysics, but its core is that we spend our entire lives dealing with emotions and feelings. Wang Yangming said: "Except for human affairs and changes, everything else is appropriate," human affairs include joy, anger, sorrow, and happiness; changes include wealth, honor, poverty, and low status. Essentially, all matters are about engaging with our inner selves.

Take heartbreak, for example. If pain and frustration are not handled well, they can directly impact your career and life. There are countless historical examples of people troubled by love, family breakdowns, and even death. This shows that emotions and the subconscious are the true underlying forces driving our behavior and destiny.

Many people have a misconception, always saying, "I'll cultivate myself when I have free time." But Heart Learning tells us: the present moment is the practice field. Your current feelings and thoughts are your connection to the world; there is no need to wait, and you cannot wait.
True "Unity of Knowledge and Action" is not about knowing first and then doing, but that knowledge and action are fundamentally without delay. Just like seeing a cockroach, you immediately feel disgusted and instinctively dodge—that is unity of knowledge and action—knowledge is sincere feeling, and action is an instinctive response.

Wang Yangming himself achieved enlightenment in the dire situation of being exiled to Longchang. Words are easy to understand but slow to effect change, while experiencing disasters, though costly, can instantly reveal the power of the subconscious. Most of us are actually living in a "coma" state, being led by the subconscious without realizing it.

In business, experts know how to bypass rationality and directly target the subconscious; in Buddhist concepts, "Mona World" governs our "self-value," and the "mind" of the sixth consciousness actually cannot make decisions.

Wang Yangming's "Innate Knowledge" helps us see clearly: "There are good and evil intentions," and "Knowing good and evil is innate knowledge." Cultivating the mind is about changing the subconscious—through repeated practice, making new behavioral patterns as natural as eating and sleeping. This is the true meaning of "Attain Innate Knowledge."

Heart Learning is not metaphysics; it is more like an "external plugin" for life, containing the wisdom to open your mind and change your destiny. Although many aspects are limited and cannot be fully explained, as long as we start from the present, become aware of emotions, and correct the subconscious, we can gradually move closer to a more authentic and powerful self.

That’s all for today’s sharing. Hope it inspires you.
