JUST IN: A RUU aimed at "order and security" for Bitcoin has been introduced in the Dominican Republic.
The RUU was submitted by legislator Carlos De Pérez to the country's House of Deputies.
The proposed regulation is similar to those already introduced in the region.
Pedro Vital, director of Bitcoin Dominicana, questions the RUU.
