Many DeFi participants are still staking on a single chain, living a somewhat rough life—long lock-up periods, volatile yields, and having to tinker with operations for half a day each time. This actually means missing out on the big opportunities in the cross-chain market.

Walrus Protocol's approach is quite straightforward. It combines multi-chain liquidity pools with smart rebalancing, allowing assets like ETH and USDC to flow flexibly between chains. In simple terms, it automatically helps you balance positions across different chains, saving the hassle of manual transfers.

Looking at the data, it's quite impressive—within the first week of launch, the protocol's TVL exceeded $42 million, with a daily new user growth rate of 28%. The most striking point behind this is that the average yield is 15 to 20 percentage points higher than traditional single-chain protocols. User behavior also confirms this: multi-chain operations indeed improve asset utilization efficiency.

That said, I think Walrus is doing well in the multi-chain DeFi space, with clear logic. But don’t get blinded by the numbers—cross-chain strategies fundamentally cannot escape the risks associated with market volatility. The yields are attractive, but the risks are real as well.

Single-chain staking is really a pain, are you still playing this game now?

I've looked at this multi-chain automatic rebalancing logic for a long time. It's definitely much better than single-chain, but you need to be cautious of slippage eating into the gains.

Cross-chain arbitrage opportunities are real, but the figure of 42 million TVL should be questioned—early high growth rates are often just wool party farmers taking advantage.

Single-chain staking is indeed a bit low, but the 28% increase in new users... this number is really a bit hard to believe.

Cross-chain yields are indeed attractive, but I've seen too many cases of 28% growth rates being just a flash in the pan. Let's see how long Walrus can last.

Cross-chain arbitrage sounds exciting, but how many can truly make steady money running it? Walrus data is indeed impressive, but I'm worried it might be just a flash in the pan.

That cross-chain setup sounds great, but there are hardly any who truly dare to put their main stake in. As for me, I'm still hesitant.

Single-chain staking is indeed a bit tiring, but the numbers from Walrus look a bit suspicious... 28% daily growth? Need to keep observing.

Wait, a 15-20 percentage point high return? What kind of market would be strong enough to consistently produce this number? It seems a bit doubtful.
