Multiverse Computing pushes its compressed artificial intelligence model into the mainstream market

CoinNetwork

Faced with increasingly severe risks to artificial intelligence infrastructure, Spanish startup Multiverse Computing is promoting smaller, locally run AI models as an alternative to cloud-dependent systems. The company has launched the CompactifAI application, which includes its compressed “Gilda” model for offline use, along with a new self-service API portal for developers. The company claims that its latest compressed model, HyperNova 60B 2602, is faster and cheaper than its OpenAI-based foundational models, targeting enterprise applications in coding and edge devices. Reportedly, Multiverse, with over 100 clients, is seeking a new funding round of 500 million euros.
