Yuga Labs sells Meebits Non-fungible Tokens to MeebCo, focusing on the Otherside Metaverse project

Non-fungible Token brand Yuga Labs has sold Meebits Non-fungible Token collection and its related intellectual property to Meebit Company, a company dedicated to developing the Meebits brand (MeebCo for short). MeebCo plans to expand the Meebits collection through acquisition, enhance community interaction, and launch brand extension activities such as new merchandise. Despite the sale of Meebits, Yuga Labs will continue to focus on the Bored Ape Yacht Club Non-fungible Token brand and the Otherside Metaverse project. Yuga Labs acquired the intellectual property of Meebits and CryptoPunks in 2022.(TheBlock)
