Iran's first unmanned aerial vehicle aircraft carrier unveiled

On February 6, Jinshi Data reported that on February 6 local time, the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps unveiled the country’s first unmanned aerial vehicle carrier. According to the introduction, the ship is named ‘Shahid Bagheri’, with a 180-meter long runway for launching and landing multiple different functional drone formations, launching and landing drones, and equipped with various types of light high-speed combat vessels and helicopters. The ship has joined the Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy fleet. The ship is considered Iran’s mobile naval platform for executing drone and helicopter missions at sea, capable of long-range navigation with a combat radius of 22,000 nautical miles, and can stay at sea for a year without come on.
