On February 2, Jinshi Data reported that on February 1, the Pakistan Army’s Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) issued a statement saying that the Pakistani military killed 23 terrorists in an anti-terrorism operation in the Balochistan province in the southwest of the country, with 18 Pakistani security personnel killed in the operation. The statement said that the Pakistani military conducted an anti-terrorism operation in the Glad district of Balochistan, killing 12 terrorists. In the exchange of fire with the terrorists, 18 Pakistani security personnel died. The Pakistani military then carried out a mopping-up operation in the Harnai district of Balochistan, killing 11 terrorists and destroying multiple terrorist hideouts.
