Iraqi border forces: have fully strengthened control of the border areas with Iran

On December 31st, Jinshi data reported that the Iraqi border guards announced that Iraq has comprehensively strengthened the security control of the common border with Iran. The statement stated that the commanders of the border forces of the two countries held a meeting on the same day. Sakka, the commander of the Iraqi border guards, stated that Iraq has achieved comprehensive coverage of the border areas adjacent to Iran, and has put an end to all smuggling activities or border illegal activities. Brigadier General Jodarqi, the commander of the Iranian border guards, emphasized that Iran and Iraq have a common border of about 1609 kilometers, and the cooperation between the border forces of the two countries is close, and the common border between the two countries has achieved good control under the efforts of both sides.
