Odaily Planet Daily News X users cite the report from The Washington Post, stating that Congress is trying to pass a massive ‘lame duck’ spending bill that would increase spending and restrict President Trump until September 30, 2025.
It is pointed out that this will basically deprive the Government Efficiency Department (DOGE) of the ability to affect future 10-month expenditures.
They need to pass some bills by December 20th to inform Congress to only fund the government until the end of January, so that Trump can make a decision for 2025.
