On October 17th, Mode, a Layer2 network, announced the launch of the third season of activities, which will introduce the veMODE module and provide incentives of $2 million. veMODE is an upgrade to the current MODE stake module, and stakers can earn rewards by upgrading their stake MODE balance.
Starting from October 18th, users will be able to upgrade to the veMODE stake contract on the Mode dashboard. Voting will begin on October 24th, and users must stake veMODE and veBPT before October 27th to be eligible to vote in the first Epoch. The voting deadline is October 30th, and new voters must stake 3 days before the end of each voting period. The first incentive distribution for the third quarter activity will take place in the week of October 31st.
