The Cosmos Hub has completed the integration of the fee market module and will be introduced in the Gaia v18 version.
Odaily Planet Daily News Cosmos Hub X announced in a post that the community had previously voted to introduce the charging market module (Proposal 842) to Cosmos Hub. The team has now completed the integration, which will be part of Gaia v18, providing an adaptive fee market and supporting ATOM destruction. The new fee market mechanism will only start adjusting fees when block capacity usage exceeds 50%. In simple terms, fees will only increase when block usage exceeds 15 million gas units.
