GoldenOctober2024

June 22, Jins data, the U.S. bank’s outlook for next week’s economic events, we expect the Philippine Central Bank to maintain the interest rate at 6.5%. For the policy meeting minutes of the Bank of Japan and the Bank of Thailand, we expect the Bank of Japan to make a statement indicating a significant reduction in the purchase of Japanese government bonds and take a hawkish stance on the policy interest rate path, while the Bank of Thailand will also take a hawkish stance and maintain a positive outlook. In terms of data, in Japan, due to the record tight labor market, we expect the unemployment rate to gradually decline, and Japan’s core CPI (excluding fresh food) in June will rise to 2.2%.
