Recently, many projects have sprung up on the Intent-centric track. In fact, they have been using the banner of Mass Adoption to lower the threshold for users to participate in DeFi. However, after the Paradigm paradigm shift, they are focused on the “intent-centric” track.

In the last issue, I gave you a detailed science popularization of what is intention-centered infra? In this issue, I will stand on the intent-centric track overlooking the overall perspective, so that everyone can intuitively feel what is happening on the track?

From the picture in the previous article, it can be seen that the so-called intent interaction layer is actually a mystery “black box”. The user’s transaction explicit demand (explicit demand), fuzzy preference (implicit preference), etc. will become available after passing through the black box. programming, and then execute it through various DeFi infras at the back end, and finally feedback a result to the user.

Users can express complex intentions in a very simple way, and then get a result after going through a process that is very complicated on the back end but the user does not perceive it. Hey, isn’t this also the Mass Adaoption (mass adoption) that AA account abstract wallet, MPC Wallt, etc. have been calling for?

The reason why it is called Account Abstraction account abstraction, what is abstracted? It abstracts the user’s various intentions such as “social restoration, multi-signature, Gas payment on behalf of others”, but the “intent” included in the AA contract account is more based on the executable scope of the Ethereum EVM virtual machine framework.

For example, Gas payment can be realized by calling the Proxy proxy contract. In theory, as long as the user recharges a certain token in the proxy contract, it can also pay GAS instead of the native token, but the logic of the native token is simpler;

Another example is multi-signature. In fact, multiple admins are designed for the contract account in addition to the owner, and the trigger conditions can be limited (2/3 at least two people agree). When executing, the contract will check whether the multi-signature condition is met. If Satisfied and executed, if not satisfied, rejected.

Did you find out that the way to abstract the account to simplify the user’s “intent” is to use the combined calls between the contract and the proxy contract to complete some complex requirements. Therefore, the AA account also belongs to the category of intent Centric, but it is more concrete, and it is still a very macro concept, and Mass Adption is the ultimate goal to be realized.

The implementation of “intent centric” in the DeFi field

If you define SMCs, MPC Wallet, etc. as part of the intent centric, you will definitely think of

Many familiar projects such as @UniswapX, @CoWSwap, @1inch, @SolvProtocol, @TeamUnibot, etc., because they are doing gas-free users, anti-MEV, new ERC3525 standards, automated execution, etc., are essentially doing grand plans of intent, It just never said so.

The offline pre-processing order mechanism introduced by UniswapX is an intent; The principle of CowSwap to realize the anti-MEV feature is also to preset the intent in the offline layer; Solv has added complex financial intents such as conditional payment, fund reference, role and authority management to the ERC3525 standard; Unibot implements automated transactions intnt by presetting parameters and rules in the background of social chat software.

In general, intent Centric is mainly divided into four categories according to its implementation form:

  1. Centralization intent, providing centralized client extension solutions, mainly based on Trading bots built on social platforms, exchanges and other backgrounds;
  2. Structural intent, providing smart contracts, proxy contract combinations, off-line expansion solutions, and presetting parameters to adapt to EVM virtual machine execution;
  3. Distributed intent, based on a new distributed collaboration paradigm, the intent-centric infrastructure built by Sover+utor, including the data layer, consensus layer, and interactivity must be modularly reconstructed;
  4. Intelligent intent, with AIGC as the carrier of input+outcome, the AI through DeFi global training programs the user’s complex intent and executes the output.

Whether it introduces off-chain node clients to extend data availability services, or implements complex requirements in the form of smart contracts or proxy contract combinations under the existing EVM framework, or various Social platforms or Trading bots made by exchanges to automatically execute transactions, even Future Imagination’s semantic implementation based on AIGC artificial intelligence is an intent black box.

Because they are all trying to transform the original instruction paradigm into a declarative paradigm, in essence, they are all for the realization of Mass Adoption.

Inventory of several Alpha intent projects: @anoma, a new intent infrastructure public chain; @dappOS_com, a multi-chain fund integration solution based on intent; Flashbot2.0 SUAVE, a decentralized network specially built for MEV intent; @intentessential, Provide a specific DSL language and standard for intent; @BrinkTrade, a new DEX driven by Intent.

Anoma’s new intent infrastructure public chain

Anoma is the first project to propose the concept of intent-Centric. It raised $25M in the third round of financing and has more than 30 investors. Anoma defines a new public chain of a new paradigm, which aggregates various intents such as user transactions, privacy, security, etc. After being programmed by Solver, blocks are generated, verified, and finally executed by the gossip Network network. Based on a highly modular basis, the chain can integrate various solutions such as zk and layer2, so as to realize the decentralized operation of the many-to-many abstract intent.

This project is a forward-looking project that formulates a new paradigm framework and standards. The overall framework has surpassed the current EVM smart contract paradigm. The only disadvantage is that it may take a long time to implement, but it should represent the final appearance of the distributed intent market.

DappOS is an intent-based multi-chain fund integration solution

dappOS is an innovative product under the existing smart contract framework. It is a web3 operating system incubated by Binance. It focuses on the integration of multi-chain funds. Any account of a user on the chain can directly access any application on the chain. At present, it has established practical cooperation with 20+ DApps such as GMX, Perpetual, and KyberSwap. In my opinion, it connects the multi-chain split scenarios through a dappOS Network, and at the same time builds a decentralized incentive mechanism between the Super node and the Service node, which solves the problem of large losses in cross-chain asset transfers in the past. problem, and also circumvented the cross-chain bridge that “always goes wrong”.

The intent of this project helps users improve the multi-chain asset flow experience. After the user signs and authorizes, a virtual wallet (AA) will be generated on the DappOS chain, and the virtual wallet will interact with each chain and each DApp. The user only needs one interaction to achieve Multi-chain asset scheduling.

Flashbot2.0 SUAVE is a decentralized network specially built for MEV intent

Flash 2.0 SUAVE is an intent abstraction network dedicated to serving the MEV scenario. It is easy to understand that MEV arbitrage is also the most rigid intent in the financial scenario. As we all know, Flashbot has almost a monopoly position in the Ethereum bulider node and even in cross-chain scenarios. This makes MEVbot have to fight Gas War if it wants to successfully pinch profits. This will not only be criticized for hurting the public experience of the public chain, but MEV itself is also risky in operation. “Interception” concerns from miners. How to do it? Flashbot then built a decentralized MEV-geth and MEV-relay service node, which is equivalent to an off-chain black box, where MEV trading opportunities can be fully digested, which can reduce the impact of congestion on the public chain and maximize Mining MEV value.

This project is a new paradigm in terms of MEV, and its emergence may turn MEV from an annoying image in the past into a bot robot that promotes price stability on the chain, which is quite interesting.

Essential provides a specific DSL language and standard for intent

Essential is also trying to implement its own intent plan in the MEV field, because what it describes in its documentation is similar to what SUAVE has to do, but SUAVE itself does not make a fuss about intent Centric. It is estimated that the earning organization disdains to package itself with new concepts. . Essential can be regarded as one of SUAVE’s future competitors. By customizing the DSL intent language, integrating the AA account abstraction standard, and modularizing the intent layer, it solves various problems in the MEV scenario, and distributes the control rights to Searcher, Bulider, and Validator Wait for the participants.

Brink Trade is a new trading system driven by Intent

Brink Trade is an automated intent order matching system specially built based on the smart contract framework, including Limit order, Stop-loss order, etc. It also has the concepts of Solver and utor. The former is a variety of contracts and Proxy contracts built for decentralization, and the latter is a group of market makers and institutions that have the strength to execute these orders on the chain. It is a protocol that focuses on the intent trading system, and can also be understood as a free trading market built by various open contracts. There is no doubt that the AA account wallet is also the basis, and various contracts have SDK plug-ins provided by the platform from the open source market integrated.

It should be said that the price limit order implemented by DeFi is the most primitive intent transaction. This is a conditional intent. When the price meets a certain condition, the transaction is triggered. There are also continuous intents such as Ethereum every 5000 blocks. assets; or Multi-Step intents, etc. Brink wants to give full play to the composability of smart contracts within the EVM framework. Limit orders, stop loss orders, etc. are also the core of high-frequency trading scenarios. If Anoma is a completely abstract intent, Brink’s Trading intent is relatively more practical.

Bob the Solver

The core of Bob the Solver is to abstract the Solver of the intent layer, and the Solver constructs the transaction, which is executed by the account abstraction (AA) wallet. The Solver is trained by a machine learning model, which can classify the user’s intentions and match the corresponding path to complete the transaction. The AA account can collect and organize transactions from the Solver, and pay a certain Gas fee. Solver can be an independent AIGC model domesticated by AI, nested into various wallets and DApps to mine and identify users’ intentions.

The idea of Solver based on artificial intelligence training directly opens up the imagination of the concept of intent centricity, which is equivalent to directly making a strong connection between the AIGC field and blockchain application innovation. The combination of the two can make a good breakthrough in the development of intelligent Solver, but the difficulty is How to make AI compatible with the current complex DeFi financial logic and models, and how to make AI efficiently extract users’ intentions for effective programmable execution? Remarks: The projects involved above include public chains, MEV, DEX, Wallet, etc., most of which are in the early stage of Alpha. I mainly analyzed the technical implementation logic behind them. Friends who are concerned about the development of the intent centri track can pay attention, but they do not constitute investment advice .
