According to a report from IT House on July 5, artificial intelligence startup Inflection AI recently announced that it is developing a supercomputer equipped with 22,000 NVIDIA H100 GPUs to meet the development needs of generative AI.
Inflection AI was founded by Mustafa Suleyman, co-founder of Google DeepMind, and Reid Hoffman, co-founder of recruitment platform LinkedIn. It focuses on developing consumer-oriented artificial intelligence products and is considered to be the main competitor of OpenAI.
According to Inflection AI, the supercomputer is equipped with 22,000 H100 GPUs, uses nearly 700 four-node racks of Intel Xeon CPUs, and consumes a staggering 31 megawatts of power.
As previously reported, artificial intelligence startup Inflection AI raised $1.3 billion, with investors including Bill Gates and Nvidia.
