According to a CCTV Finance report on June 21, since the end of last year, the wave of applications represented by generative AI has continued to ferment, and new applications have been continuously introduced. The contradiction between the supply and demand of relevant talents has become increasingly prominent. According to data from a recruitment platform, this year’s fresh graduates’ artificial intelligence positions accounted for the first among more than a dozen emerging industry recruitment positions, with a year-on-year increase of over 170%. Among them, the average annual salary of deep learning-related positions was nearly 420,000 yuan, ranking among all top job category. Regardless of fresh graduates or social recruitment, the demand for artificial intelligence-related recruitment has shown a substantial increase in the past three years. There are more than 2,000 software and information service companies in Shanghai’s Putuo District. According to relevant departments, in recent years, a large number of these companies have transformed to artificial intelligence, and there is a huge gap in relevant talents. To this end, government departments provide start-up funding and housing subsidies, and also cooperate with universities to set up artificial intelligence talent bases in terms of talent training.
