Gate News reports that a survey commissioned by a certain crypto organization on March 25th shows that cryptocurrencies are very popular among young people in the UK, and supporters are not limited to right-wing parties. Data indicates that among left-leaning supporters aged 16 to 25 in the UK, 64% have heard of cryptocurrencies, 74% are familiar with Bitcoin, which is higher than some right-wing voters; 42% believe that digital assets will have a positive impact on their future finances. Although Nigel Farage’s UK Reform Party has been outspoken in supporting the crypto industry, the survey shows that the appeal of digital assets has crossed party lines. Meanwhile, the UK government faces industry pressure in advancing crypto regulation, and policy development involving the Bank of England and other agencies is still considered slow by some industry insiders.
