According to representatives of the organization, this decision reflects India’s increasingly prominent role in global crypto innovation. In 2024, India recorded the highest number of new crypto developers in the world, demonstrating strong growth in blockchain education, human resources, and open-source contributions. The country is now among the fastest-growing developer communities.

The local ecosystem is also being boosted by projects such as EthMumbai, Devfolio, and Polygon—entities that play a key role in supporting developers, organizing hackathons, and developing practical blockchain applications.
