According to previous reports, in November 2023, the relevant CEX announced that it had reached a resolution with U.S. regulators regarding historical registration, compliance, and sanctions issues. The exchange will pay a fine of $1.8 billion and has agreed to make the payment within 15 months of the judgment; additionally, $2.5 billion in funds has been confiscated, part of which is related to transactions with U.S. users, and another part is related to transactions involving Iran, which will be paid within a specific time frame after the judgment, with a total confiscated amount of $4.368 billion.
