Odaily News Ethena officially stated on X: “Due to market turbulence and large-scale liquidations, the secondary market price of USDe has experienced fluctuations. We can confirm that the minting and redemption functions of USDe have always remained operational without any downtime, and USDe continues to maintain over-collateralization. Affected by the liquidations, the price of Futures Trading in the market has consistently been lower than the Spot price and continues to be below the Spot price. Since Ethena holds Spot and is shorting contracts, this has unexpectedly generated more additional revenue for USDe. Therefore, due to the impact of the sudden events, the over-collateralization ratio of USDe will be higher than yesterday.”
