Jin10 Data reported on October 3rd, local time on October 2nd, that Iranian President Pezeshkian, during a visit to the southern Hormozgan province, stated that due to the excessive expansion of urban areas, the worsening water crisis, and the increasing threat of land subsidence, Iran has no choice but to move its capital from Tehran to the south. Pezeshkian mentioned that he has proposed to Iran's Supreme Leader Khamenei that the capital should be relocated towards the Persian Gulf, stating that “moving the capital is no longer a choice, but a necessity.”
