Golden Finance reported that the social platform X recently publicly accused a gang that had previously participated in encryption fraud of attempting to bribe its employees through a middleman in order to restore frozen accounts. X stated that it has uncovered this “bribery network,” and those involved have connections to an international criminal organization called “The Com.” Legal proceedings are currently underway, and X has stated that it will fully cooperate with law enforcement.
It is reported that the gang operates on multiple platforms simultaneously. The FBI issued a warning in July about the “The Com” organization, stating that it involves several minors participating in transnational cybercrime.
