Jin10 Data, September 13 - According to reports from Congolese media on the 12th local time, a fire and capsizing accident involving a ship occurred in the Equateur province in the northwest of the country on the night of the 11th, resulting in at least 107 deaths and 146 people missing. Congolese media cited local government sources stating that the accident happened in the Congo River waters, about 122 kilometers from the provincial capital Mbandaka. A ship caught fire and capsized while sailing, causing its cargo to be destroyed, and the fire spread to the riverbank, resulting in 15 houses being burned down. Currently, 209 people have been rescued, with many injured.
