Jim Barnes, head of fixed income at Bryn Mawr Trust, stated: “When I think of countries like the UK and France, I believe this merely highlights again the deficit, the unpaid debt, and the potential inflation impact from tariffs in the US - all of which are factors driving global yields to rise.”
