Jin10 data reported on August 18, according to the Korean News Agency, sources revealed on the 18th that South Korean President Lee Jae-myung plans to send a special envoy delegation to China around the 25th. The report mentioned that members of the aforementioned delegation may include former Speaker of the National Assembly Park Byeong-seok and Democratic Party lawmaker Kim Tae-nyeon. A Democratic Party official stated, “It has not been finalized yet, but to my knowledge, they are considering coordinating the departure date around the anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between South Korea and China (August 24).” As of the time of publication, no official response has been seen from the South Korean government regarding the above news. However, the Korean News Agency mentioned that Lee Jae-myung sending a special envoy to China “reflects his commitment to handling relations with China.”
