Jin10 Data, July 26 - Intel announced its plans to split its networking and edge division in a memo to customers, stating that it will seek external investment for this business unit. An Intel spokesperson confirmed the content of the memo. The representative stated in a release: “We plan to establish the core part of the networking and communications business as an independent company and have initiated the process of seeking strategic investors.” It is reported that the memo was written by Sachin Katti.
