Gate News bot message, Alibaba Cloud is accelerating its global layout. According to Caixin, Alibaba Cloud announced the addition of data centers in Malaysia and the Philippines. The third availability zone in Malaysia officially went into operation on July 1, and the second availability zone in the Philippines is scheduled to be activated in October this year. This expansion brings Alibaba Cloud’s global infrastructure coverage to 29 regions and 90 availability zones.
In addition to infrastructure expansion, Alibaba Cloud also announced the establishment of its first AI Global Capability Center. The center plans to collaborate with over 1,000 enterprises to build more than 10 industry AI demonstration projects and work with more than 120 universities worldwide, aiming to train 100,000 AI talents each year.
