Jin10 Data, June 30 - According to The Wall Street Journal, as the Kremlin exerts its manpower advantage in more areas along the front lines, the Russian military is now just 12 miles (approximately 16 kilometers) from the capital of northern Ukraine, marking a new target for Moscow. Earlier this year, the Russian army nearly drove all Ukrainian troops out of the Russian Kursk region, and now they have crossed the border from the opposite direction, advancing into the Sumy region. Soldiers fighting in the area report that they have 50,000 troops there, roughly three times the number of Ukrainians. As Russia pushes into Sumy, Trump has begun to express increasing dissatisfaction with the Kremlin’s unwillingness to facilitate a ceasefire. Despite recent talks between Ukrainian and Russian officials in Turkey, Moscow has intensified missile and drone attacks on Ukrainian cities during the same period.
