J.P. Morgan: Do not have high expectations for the Federal Reserve to cut interest rates.

DailyNews

Odaily News JPMorgan Asset Management’s Chief Global Strategist David Kelly said that the Federal Reserve (FED) may maintain interest rates unchanged before the end of this year. He pointed out that if inflation is expected to rise due to tariffs, it may not dissipate until 2026. “By the end of next year, the economy should cool down. Inflation should cool down, and perhaps they will give us some lower interest rates.” “Right now, don’t hold your breath waiting for the FED’s lower interest rates, as they seem to have no intention of providing lower rates.” (Jin10)
