A suspect allegedly involved in the French Crypto Assets kidnapping case was arrested in Morocco.

According to Techub News and CoinDesk, Moroccan authorities have stated that Badiss Mohamed Amide Bajjou, a Franco-Moroccan suspect involved in the French Crypto Assets kidnapping case, has been arrested in Tangier.

Moroccan police announced through MAP that, at the request of French authorities, the Moroccan National Judicial Police Brigade (BNPJ) and the General Directorate of Territorial Surveillance (DGST) jointly acted to arrest a 24-year-old Franco-Moroccan suspect. Currently, French authorities have filed lawsuits against more than 20 individuals in connection with a series of Crypto Assets kidnapping cases in Paris, including 6 minors, most of which are related to the attempted kidnapping of Paymium CEO Pierre Noizat’s family on May 13.
