CME's average daily volume of crypto futures in April rose by 129%, with Ethereum futures ADV reaching 14,000 contracts.

Golden Finance reports that the derivatives market CME has released its April market statistics, showing that its platform’s average daily trading volume (ADV) for futures contracts reached 35.9 million, a year-on-year increase of 36%. The average daily trading volume for crypto assets futures grew by 129%, mainly including:

  1. The average daily trading volume of micro bitcoin futures contracts increased by 115% to 78,000 contracts;
  2. The average daily trading volume of micro Ethereum futures contracts rose by 165%, reaching 63,000 contracts;
  3. The daily average trading volume of Ethereum futures contracts rose by 239%, reaching 14,000 contracts.
