Gate Announcement: Adjustment to Spot Market Order Status Fields

Change Details

Before the Update
When a spot market order is partially filled, the system returns:

• REST：status = closed ，finish_as = filled
• WS：finish_as = filled

This behavior did not clearly distinguish between fully filled orders and orders that were only partially executed before completion.

After the Update

1.If a spot market order is partially filled due to insufficient liquidity , the system will return:

• REST: status = cancelled , finish_as = ioc
• WebSocket: finish_as = ioc
• The update is scheduled to go live on January 30, 2026.

2.If a spot market order is partially filled due to slippage protection , the system will return:

• REST: status = cancelled , finish_as = price_protect_cancelled
• WebSocket: finish_as = price_protect_cancelled
• The update is scheduled to go live on January 29, 2026.

With this update, the actual execution result of the order will be more accurately reflected.
