Bitcoin's recent explosive rally hit a wall on Thursday, March 5, ending a three-day run in which the cryptocurrency jumped nearly 10% and briefly reclaimed the $74,000 threshold. The reversal saw bitcoin fall to an intraday low of $70,902 before finding support and consolidating around the $71,000 range—a 3% drop in 24 hours.
Despite the cooling-off, bitcoin remains up over 6% for the week and stands out as one of the few assets to maintain net gains since the escalation of the Middle East conflict.
