U.S. District Judge Mary Kay Vyskocil of the Southern District of New York issued a temporary restraining order (TRO) against crypto lending platform BlockFills in a lawsuit filed by Dominion Capital, freezing 70.6 BTC related to the dispute, and prohibiting the company from transferring relevant assets or moving assets outside the U.S. during the case. The order also requires BlockFills to disclose and segregate customer funds. Dominion accuses BlockFills of embezzling and commingling customer assets, refusing to return the crypto assets after suspending withdrawals. Previously, BlockFills had suspended customer deposits and withdrawals in February, reportedly losing about $75 million in recent market downturns, and is seeking buyers or emergency financing.
