Odaily Planet Daily berichtet, dass das Krypto-Kreditunternehmen Ledn eine securitisierte Anleiheemission in Höhe von 188 Millionen US-Dollar mit Bitcoin-Absicherung abgeschlossen hat. Bei diesem Deal handelt es sich um zwei Anleiheklassen, wobei der Investment-Grade-Teil mit einem Aufschlag von 335 Basispunkten auf den Referenzzinssatz bewertet wurde. Die Anleihe ist mit etwa 4.078,87 Bitcoin als Sicherheit unterlegt, was bei Fair Value etwa 357 Millionen US-Dollar entspricht. Standard & Poor’s Global hat den Großteil der Anleihen mit BBB- bewertet. Ledn bietet hauptsächlich Kreditdienstleistungen an, bei denen Bitcoin als Sicherheit dient, und hat seit seiner Gründung Kredite in Milliardenhöhe vergeben. Zuvor hatte der Stablecoin-Emittent Tether im November letzten Jahres in Ledn investiert. Die Anleiheemission wurde von Jefferies Financial Group als Strukturierer und Bookrunner durchgeführt.
