BlockBeats Meldung, 13. Februar: Sonic Labs hat eine Erklärung zu den kürzlichen öffentlichen Kommentaren über Andre Cronje und das Sonic-Netzwerk veröffentlicht. Im Jahr 2018 initiierte ein koreanisches Team ein ICO für Fantom (heute umbenannt in Sonic). Aufgrund schlechter Verwaltung konnte das Team kein funktionsfähiges Produkt liefern, und große Summen an Kapital wurden aufgebraucht. Seit Juni 2018 ist Andre Cronje bei Fantom eingestiegen und hat das Projekt neu gestartet. Als Andre Cronje beitrat, betrug das Nicht-FTM-Vermögen im Treasury weniger als 5 Millionen US-Dollar, diese Vermögenswerte stiegen zwischen 2020 und 2021 auf neunstellige Beträge.
Sonic Labs ergänzte, dass Andre nicht das ursprüngliche Token-Ökonomie-Modell von Fantom entworfen hat. Dieses Modell wurde 2018 vom ursprünglichen koreanischen Team erstellt und später durch On-Chain-Governance geändert. Andre verwaltet oder kontrolliert auch nicht allein den Sonic-Entwicklungsfonds. Er hat Fantom/Sonic nie aufgegeben, die ursprüngliche Technologie entworfen, die Mittel erweitert und weiterhin als technischer Berater fungiert, der regelmäßig das technische Team unterstützt. Es gibt keinerlei Hinweise auf eine missbräuchliche Verwendung von Geldern.
