As if a billionaire who lives in a tower of gold were the herald of financial freedom. As if a guy who only knows how to talk about 'me, me, me' were the defender of popular sovereignty. It's such a big contradiction that hurts. Bitcoin was born to be the currency of the people, to empower the poor, the excluded, those who have no voice. And now, this same community is rooting for a guy who is the embodiment of the system they should be fighting against.
