According to a report by the American Fun Science website on the 14th, a chip start-up in the United States has launched a new 5nm-level "wafer-level engine 3" (WSE-3) chip. According to the company's official website, this is currently the fastest AI chip in the world, doubling the previous record. With 4 trillion transistors, WSE-3 also makes it the largest computer chip to date, dedicated to training large AI models, and is also expected to be used in the Condor Galaxy 3 AI supercomputer, which is currently under construction.
