Some thoughts on farcaster + frames:



friendtech (and its ref links, pts program, fees) showed us the best way to bootstrap liquidity and a social network is to incentivize influencers

after gathering a shitton of users and liquidity (arguably the two most valuable things) racer rugged..

.. which is too bad, because there was a real potential for FT to be *the* super-app -- the sky is the limit when you own: 1) users, 2) liquidity, and 3) identity

so what do you do once you have 1, 2, and 3 on your platform? you bring in companies and individuals that want to sell their products and you find a way to extract some value as the platform

and in conjunction, you find a way to generalize the existing ref links and points program -- so that no other d'app or protocol ever has to create their own version again. you also find a way to increase the conversion rate (better targeting, faster checkout, etc) so that dapps want to market and sell on your platform

this creates a where:
1) influencers want to use your app because they get paid
2) brands want to sell on your app since they know they are getting the best bang for buck
3) this is on crypto rails so you are able to monetize without a value extractive middle man
