RDC Plans to Launch Bitcoin Securities Products Exempt From SEC Registration (ex Citibank levels are already doing this)
Receipts Depositary Corporation, backed by Franklin Templeton, plans to launch Bitcoin-based security products exempt from SEC registration. The depositary receipts, which follow the same structure as American Depositary Receipts, will be issued to qualified institutional buyers in the coming weeks. The BTC DRs will be backed by bitcoin held in custody and will operate within U.S. regulated market infrastructure.
