New Hires Getting Equity Instead of Crypto in the Crypto Industry: Survey



A survey conducted by Variant and Union Square Ventures reveals that new hires in the crypto industry are more likely to receive equity rather than tokens as compensation. The survey also found that the bear market did not significantly impact hiring plans, engineers dominate the workforce and are better compensated, and companies are diversifying their staff geographically. Additionally, the survey noted that crypto startups are experimenting with new incentive mechanisms that rely less on tokens.
