PUBG Developers Unveil Cosmos-Based Settlus Blockchain for USDC Settlements
Krafton, the game development company behind PUBG Battlegrounds, has announced plans for Settlus, a blockchain project using the Cosmos SDK for payment settlements in USDC. The platform aims to onboard PUBG's 30 million monthly active users to the new payment and settlement layer. Settlus will launch its testnet in early 2024 and will allow gas fees to be paid through stablecoins, with initial settlements facilitated through Circle's stablecoin USDC.
