Lufthansa Group Launches NFT-based Loyalty Program That Rewards Passengers With Digital Collectibles



Lufthansa Group has launched an NFT-based loyalty program called Uptrip, which rewards passengers with digital collectibles that unlock additional benefits. Passengers can collect themed digital trading cards based on destinations, aircraft, and holidays, and by completing themed collections, they can access perks such as free inflight WiFi and airport lounge access. Uptrip, built on Polygon, has already been tested with over 20,000 users who collected over 200,000 digital trading cards.
