Kristy Lynn Felkins, a Nevada woman, has been sentenced to five years in prison for attempting to hire a hitman on the dark web using Bitcoin to kill her ex-husband. In 2016, Felkins sent 12 Bitcoin, worth $5,000 at the time, to a site called Besa Mafia, which claimed to offer murder-for-hire services. However, the site turned out to be a scam, and no murder took place.
