Cross-chain bridge security incidents occur frequently, and the funds involved in history exceed 2 billion US dollars. According to incomplete statistics from PANews, 2022 is the year with the most frequent theft of cross-chain bridges. Although this year has decreased, two well-known cross-chain bridges, Poly Network and Multichain, have been stolen or funds have been transferred abnormally this month. The probability of funds being retrieved or compensated in a cross-chain bridge security incident decreases.
