What I’m most afraid of missing isn’t actually opportunities, but that feeling of confirmation that says “I should have waited a bit longer if I had known earlier.” Recently, I’ve been watching the cross-chain bridge drama again. On the surface, it’s great that transactions arrive in seconds, but basically it all comes down to a few strings: who exactly is the multi-sig signer, whether the oracle data is reliable, and what you’re actually waiting for after clicking “Confirm.” If something glitches on the blockchain side, or if there’s a small hiccup with the signature, it quickly turns into “It’s going to fail soon.”

There are also some on-chain data tools and tagging systems that are criticized for being outdated or even misleading, which I can understand… Everyone wants to understand the big picture with a single marker, but with bridges, the biggest risk is thinking it’s “confirmed,” when in reality it’s just “looks like it.” Anyway, I’d rather go slower now, wait for a few more confirmations, and sleep more peacefully. That’s all for now.
