CryptoWorld News reports that White House Press Secretary Leavitt revealed that U.S. President Trump discussed a new proposal put forward by Iran that is intended to resolve the war issue with senior national security advisors that day. Under the proposal, the Strait of Hormuz will remain open, while the matter of Iran’s nuclear program will be left for later discussion. Leavitt said that Trump’s bottom line remains unchanged, requiring that the Strait of Hormuz—a key oil transportation waterway—must remain open, and requiring Iran to hand over its enriched uranium. She added, “I won’t say that they are ‘considering’ this proposal. I can only say that a discussion indeed took place this morning. I don’t want to speak ahead of the President’s official remarks. I’m confident that you will later directly hear the President himself’s views on this topic.”
