Cryptocurrency trading is almost entirely public. A startup believes it has borrowed an idea from Wall Street that could change that.
Nearly half of all stock trading in the United States takes place off public exchanges; however, there is virtually no equivalent in the crypto world, leaving market makers completely exposed to trade copying and public scrutiny.
