Stalemate in US-Iran Negotiations: Three Major Deadlocks with No Concessions

Currently, US-Iran negotiations are at a standstill, with core disagreements centered on the following three points:
Control of the Strait of Hormuz
The US demands Iran immediately open the strait and restore freedom of maritime navigation. Iran explicitly refuses, saying it will only consider opening this strategic chokepoint after reaching a final peace agreement.
Disposal of Enriched Uranium Stockpiles
Trump demands Iran "hand over or sell all near-weapons-grade enriched uranium stockpiles." Iran has put forward a counterproposal, but the two sides failed to reach a compromise.
Unfreezing Overseas Assets and War Reparations
Iran asks the US to compensate for damages from the airstrikes and unfreeze its oil revenues frozen in countries including Iraq, Luxembourg, Bahrain, Japan, Qatar, Turkey, and Germany for reconstruction. The US has already clearly rejected this.
Core Contradiction: Iran uses "control of the strait" as a bargaining chip, demanding that sanctions be lifted and compensation be provided first; the US, meanwhile, insists on denuclearization first, then granting approval to proceed. Both sides set preconditions for each other, and neither is willing to make concessions first. Under this deadlock, geopolitical risks keep building, and market uncertainty continues to rise.
