JUST IN: AWS defended its multi billion dollar investment in OpenAI despite its long standing partnership with Anthropic.
According to Matt Garman, this type of conflict is not only manageable but a natural part of the strategy Amazon has employed for years in the cloud.
Garman stated that AWS has experience competing with partners without granting itself unfair advantages.
Amazon announced a $50 billion investment in OpenAI, following its $8 billion investment in Anthropic.
